President and Laboratory Co-Director
Dr. Gordon is a family medicine physician at FHCSD. His research interests are primary care practice and novel preventative screening technology.
Infectious Disease Specialist
Dr. Vidaurrazaga is an internal medicine and infectious disease physician at FHCSD. Her research interests include a wide range of infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B and C, tuberculosis, and COVID-19/Long COVID
Psychiatrist
Dr. Besterman is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at FHCSD, whose research interests include translational neurogenetics, immunogenomics and early-phase clinical trials for rare neurodevelopmental syndromes and pediatric psychiatric disorders.
Endocrinologist
Dr. Gerwer is a board-certified endocrinologist and obesity medicine specialist at FHCSD with a specific interest in the advancement of care in the area of chronic diseases management. Dr. Gerwer provides care for FHCSD patients with a broad range of endocrine diagnosis including: Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS), Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, thyroid conditions, adrenal disorders, and pituitary disease.

Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Rodas is a licensed clinical psychologist at FHCSD specializing in infant-family and early childhood mental health, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), and neurodiversity.
