The Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute has funded Stanford in collaboration with FHSCD to implement the study of Comparative Effectiveness of Significant Other-Enhanced Office-based Opioid buprenorphine-naloxone Treatment (OBOT) in Primary Care. The study will test whether engaging the patient’s significant other in an evidence-based psychosocial intervention, Community Reinforcement Approach and Family Training (CRAFT), improves patients’ engagement and retention on OBOT compared to patients only receiving OBOT.
