The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has funded FHCSD, in collaboration with the ECHO Institute and the University of Washington, to continue offering monthly webinar-style learning sessions as a continuation of LC&FIRP. These learning sessions will support the rapid dissemination of the latest findings and emerging best practices on Post-COVID Conditions (PCC) and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS). In addition to monthly webinars, two case-based virtual community-of-practice tele-mentoring sessions are offered each month. Each session includes a brief didactic presentation by a subject-matter expert, followed by a 10-minute Q&A, and concludes with a 30-minute case presentation by a participant and discussion. These peer-to-peer learning sessions are designed primarily for healthcare providers caring for patients with LP/PCC and ME/CFS, while the monthly webinar is open to all healthcare professionals and patient advocates interested in LC/PCC and ME/CFS treatment.
