National HIV Behavioral Surveillance

The California Department of Public Health funded FHCSD to conduct National Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Behavioral Surveillance in San Diego. The goal of this study is to interview and provide HIV testing and counseling to at least 500 participants, who are at increased risk of HIV infection. This includes the collection of blood specimens for laboratory and confirmatory testing according to CDC-approved methods and guidance.
