Western University has partnered with FHCSD and multiple international sites to launch the Long COVID Optimize study. This study was funded by the Schmidt Initiative for Long COVID with the goal of identifying Long-COVID sub-phenotypes by analyses of patient clinical data, together with their plasma proteins and metabolites. Study cohorts will include those previously infected with SARS-CoV-2 and suffering Long-COVID, those previously infected with SARS-CoV-2 without Long-COVID, and healthy individuals. Data analyses will be accomplished with Conventional Statistics, Machine Learning, Large Language Models, and/or Bioinformatic Analyses BA).
