The Conrad Prebys Foundation funded FHCSD for one year to focus on implementing translational science and innovation to benefit FHCSD’s patient population. This will be achieved by establishing an intramural, community-based institutional review board, launching a pilot projects program, and creating a competitive Scientist In-Residence Program to foster improved community-focused partnerships. Additionally, a Mobile Research Lab will be deployed in an effort to reduce barriers to research participation and extend pilot projects reach within the community.
