Enhanced Multicomponent Proactive Navigator-Assisted Cessation of Tobacco Use in Low-Income Patients CPPR

EMPACT-Us builds upon the Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program (TRDRP) Community-Partnered Participatory Research (CPPR) Pilot Study that focused on the feasibility and acceptability of a suite of tobacco cessation services for low-income populations. FHCSD and researchers at the University of California, San Diego Moores Cancer Center evaluated patterns of primary care provider referrals and patient utilization associated with enhanced engagement in tobacco-use quit attempts.
