The Center for Learning Health System Science is funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to support the training of researchers to conduct patient-centered outcomes research within learning health systems. The center is led by the University of California, San Diego, and aims to advance healthcare delivery through continuous learning and improvement. Family Health Centers of San Diego collaborates with the center as a health system partner to host scholars of the Embedded Scientist Training and Research E-STaR) Scholars Program.
