Neurodevelopmental Disorders Research

LRRI leads community-based neurodevelopmental and early-onset psychiatric research to improve diagnosis, treatment and outcomes for children and adolescents with autism, rare genetic conditions, catatonia and early-onset psychosis. Our team studies diagnostic yield and clinical utility of genetic testing. Our research develops scalable models for delivering evidence-based genomic evaluation in underserved communities, and investigates targeted treatments aligned with underlying biological mechanisms. Through partnerships with families, advocacy groups, and industry, we aim to translate discovery into measurable improvements in functioning, quality of life, and long-term outcomes for children and adolescents with NDDs.
